Understanding this mechanical concept will guide you towards helping the patient. It is a beautiful thing to observe once they work together. When you witness this, the patient will be cured. The patient or the parent will not believe how wonderful they feel. If you achieve this, helping the three diaphragms work together, especially if it is accomplished on the first or second visit, you will officially become the local “miracle healer.” Your reputation will spread.

Reign in that Ego. Be humble and open to the possibilities. All great Osteopaths who become miracle healers eventually end up on this path. I forced myself upon this path and did so quite grudgingly for the longest time. The first ten years were mechanical, the last ten years were combined mechanical and energetic. Total years in, 20, and I am still discovering and finding joy in putting it all together to return the patient to their own wholeness.
